The inspiration
The inspiration behind the name of our olive oil, Nemesis, comes from the ancient Greek goddess of the same name.
In classical art, Nemesis is often depicted holding a sword, a scale, and sometimes a sphere. These symbols are no coincidence – they reflect her role as the goddess of just retribution and fairness.
The concept of justice also defines us as a couple, as we work hard and strive every day to maintain balance between production, our family, and ourselves. Like everyone, we have faced challenges in life, and that is why we chose this name. Life always gives back: happiness or hardship is, to a large extent, the outcome of our actions and choices (with the exception, of course, of health, where injustices can sometimes be unavoidable).
Our Nemesis extra virgin olive oil supports the well-being of both body and mind when consumed in moderation, preferably raw. At the same time, it is excellent for cooking, unlike many other oils that break down at high temperatures.
Beyond the kitchen, it can also be used for natural skincare and hair care, making it a truly versatile product.

The Village
How does life flow in our village?
Slowly, but with its own rhythm, allowing you the time to experience each day and each season in its full glory. Nature follows its cycle: in winter it rests, in spring it gathers strength to be reborn, in summer it nourishes its fruits, and in autumn it generously offers them to us.
The olive begins as a tiny seed, blossoms into a flower, and then nature takes care of feeding its fruit. People stand by at every stage with care: proper pruning, watering, fertilization, protection from harmful insects – always with respect for nature and guidance from experienced agronomists.
Learning new techniques, applying specialized pruning methods, and using natural fertilization from our family’s sheep and goats is a process that never ends. Alongside lifelong learning comes our love for nature and for our profession.
Olive production is not just another job; it is a vocation that George carries out throughout the year, alongside livestock farming. One could say that the labor of both professions is skillfully intertwined. The harvest and the immediate transport of the olives to the mill – which fully meets the standards of organic cold pressing – mark the completion of the production process. But our work does not stop there.
Next, we carefully select glass containers, and soon tinplate cans will follow. Until then, we safeguard our olive oil like a precious treasure in a special warehouse with certified food-grade tanks. Afterwards, it is packaged in a certified facility that meticulously follows all safety regulations, only after the necessary chemical analyses have been completed. The promotion begins in the local market, but now we are also delighted to welcome you to our online store.
